ATF Wales

The ATF Wales group brings together people from across Wales who are interested in ancient and veteran trees, and organises visits to significant sites. This important regional group now needs committed volunteers to help plan and organise field meetings and other activities.

The inaugural meeting of ATF Wales was held at Dinefwr in Carmarthenshire, in April 2015 and the first North Wales event took place at Chirk Castle on 8 November 2015. In June 2016 the group held an event at Llanerchaeron to learn about recording ancient and veteran trees, and to plan the future of the group.

As group lead, Tracey Lovering organised these first three successful field meetings in north, south and mid Wales, but she has now had to step down from the role.  If you can help plan and organise a programme of events for 2017, please contact Andrew Wills at andrew.wills321@gmail.com, telephone 0744 5561591
