ATF Scotland

The 2014 ATF summer conference was held in the Perth and Aviemore areas, and following this event, a number of ATF supporters living and working in Scotland, got together for a field visit to Cadzow.

The local ATF group for Scotland is co-ordinated by Chris Knapman, who co-founded Devon Ancient Tree Forum in August 2005 but has now moved to Scotland. He was previously a Plymouth City Council Tree Officer and now works as an independent ecological and arboricultural consultant. He is an assessor for the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme and has worked as Tree Protection Officer for the RHS at Chelsea Flower Show. Chris is also a member of the Ancient Yew Group and is developing guidance with regard to their sensitive care and management.  Details of all the group’s field visits are publicised on the ATF events pages.

To find out about getting involved in the group, email chrisjknapman@gmail.com.
