Summer Forum programme published

by Paul Read

Rummers Lane Orchard

A programme for the Ancient Tree Forum’s annual conference is now available, giving details of presentations and site visits.

Fungi in hollowing beech trees, the restoration of orchards, and management of farmland trees are among the topics to be discussed at the event this June. The Summer Forum 2015, to be held in East Anglia, also includes field visits to an old orchard (Rummer’s Lane, pictured) and a wood pasture site.

Places are still available at just £15 each for the two-day event, which takes place on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June. Booking is essential.
