ATF Summer Forum 2020 – Call for Papers

Summer Forum 2020
Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th July

Call for papers

The Ancient Tree Forum’s 2020 summer forum will be held at Staverton Park, Suffolk. The theme for this year’s forum will be ‘How do we ensure ancient trees form part of our future landscapes?’

We welcome the submission of papers on the theme of ancient and other veteran tree management and would be particularly interested in presentations that relate to the:

  • Looking after what we have
  • Planning for the future

Proposals should include the following information.

  1. Name
  2. Job title and organisation (if relevant)
  3. Brief biography (no more than 100 words)
  4. Title of talk
  5. Abstract – a summary of content up to 300 words.

We have speaker slots of varying lengths from 15 to 30 minutes. Please indicate which you would prefer. For more information, or to submit a paper, please email admin@ancienttreeforum.co.uk

The deadline for proposals is Monday 16th March 2020. In return for presenting, the speakers’ package will include attendance at both days of the forum, lunches, and Thursday evening meal. (Please note that we are unable to cover travel and accommodation expenses.)
