ATF Spring Field Visit to Windsor Great Park
Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Come and join the ATF at this spring’s field event, which takes place at Windsor Great Park
Windsor Great Park has witnessed countless events throughout history, dating back to pre-Saxon times, each of which has left its own distinctive mark on this impressive landscape.
John Deakin, Chief Forester for The Crown Estate, along with Steve Turnbull, The Crown Estate Arboriculture Supervisor, Ted Green and Bill Cathcart will lead the walk through several sites in The Great Park covering a range of topics including conservation grazing, tree replacement strategies, dead wood and tree management.
As always, there will be opportunity to debate and network with ancient tree experts.
Timings, directions and the risk assessment will be sent out two weeks before.

The ATF Council meeting will be held on the next day (Thursday 14 March), with an open session (venue and timings tbc). If you would like to attend the open session, please indicate this on the booking form.
