Saturday 3rd February 2018

Launch meeting of ATF Kent

Location: The Hayloft, Knole Park, Kent

The inaugural meeting of the ATF’s newest regional group will include a visit to Knole House and Park, Kent (courtesy of the National Trust).

The purpose of the event is learn about the trees at this historic venue and to launch an Ancient Tree Forum Group for Kent.

There will be an introduction to veteran trees, to Knole Park and to the National Trust approach to veteran tree management, and then a walk around the grounds to take in some key trees which will provide good discussion points.

Entry to the event is free (thank you, National Trust!), but please bring your own lunch, or better still, make use of the on site cafe. Please also bring suitable footwear for outdoor walking, and weatherproof gear just in case.

Register is for 9am for a 9.30am start and finishing time will be around 2pm.

Booking will be on a first come first served basis.  Those interested please Register Here .
