Burnham Beeches – Veteran Tree Trail launch day
Join the Ancient Tree Forum and City of London staff to learn about veteran tree management at Burnham Beeches. To celebrate the completion of the veteran tree trail at Burnham Beeches, a launch day will be held on 10 July.
The veteran tree trails project is funded by City of London and aims to showcase the cutting-edge veteran tree management at a number of its sites; Ashtead Common, Burnham Beeches, Epping Forest and Hampstead Heath. Self guided trails have been developed for all four sites enabling those involved with veteran tree management to learn from experiences at these sites. Information packs will be available electronically or in hard copy and participants can investigate the sites at their own pace.
The event is free, but places are limited and booking is essential. Because of the high demand and limited places, individuals will only be able to attend one launch day (i.e. either Ashtead Common, Burnham Beeches, Epping Forest or Hampstead Heath). However, after the event, the self-guided trails can be accessed at any time.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
