ATF Sussex visit to Cowdray Park

Location: Cowdray Park, (Cowdray Estate), Easebourne, West Sussex

ATF Sussex are visiting Cowdray Park on Saturday 19th October 2019. This 4 mile walk will take in some of the largest trees in the county including the Queen Elizabeth Oak and the Cowdray Colossus. We will be discussing the management of such ancients as well as tree avenue management, the next generation of trees and grazing.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

We will start at 10am and aim to finish at 2pm.  Meeting point is near the Cowdray Farm Shop and Cafe  GU29 0AJ

Free parking.

Café with toilet facilities and farm shop at start and finish of walk.

Bring a packed lunch or use the Cowdray Café after the event.

Well behaved dogs on lead welcome. Please bring bags to pick up after your dog.

The walk will be around 6.5 km / 4 miles in length with slight hills and some uneven terrain.

The start and finish point is accessible by public transport.
