ATF Scotland visit to Mavisbank
Location: Mavisbank, Midlothian
ATF Scotland invites you to join them for a social meet and guided walk around the historic landscape at Mavisbank, near Loanhead.
This nationally important property dating from the early 18th century is home to many fine veteran and ancient trees. Mavisbank House was constructed in the 1720s, and the design ‘utilised the natural land form of the valley of the North Esk, creating wildernesses, parks and gardens’.
The walk will be led by Donald Rodger, arboricultural consultant and co-author of ‘Heritage trees of Scotland’.
This event is free of charge but booking is essential. To confirm your place and to receive further details about the meeting time and place, please contact ATF Scotland co-ordinator Adam Riedi at firstname.lastname@example.org
