Autumn Field Visit 2019
The ATF Autumn Visit 2019 will be held at Wallington, Cambo, Northumberland on Thursday 10 October 2019.
Learn about the extensive Wallington Hall’s historic trees, landscape history and plans for the future. Starting in the central hall (complete with Pre-Raphaelite painted walls) for an introduction to the 13,500 acre estate by countryside manager, Paul Hewitt, we will then enjoy a walk (approximately two miles) around the estate to witness the notable trees and landscape, with plenty of opportunity for discussion on management, plans and opportunities.
The walk is relatively flat, and mostly on surface trails, with some unsurfaced woodland trails and one set of stepping stones. Numbers are limited.
Food is available from the National Trust cafe on site, alternatively you can bring a packed lunch.
Accommodation and transport:
Delegates will need to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
