Ashtead Common – Veteran Tree Trail launch day

Join the Ancient Tree Forum and City of London staff to learn about veteran tree management at Ashtead Common. To celebrate the completion of the veteran tree trail at Ashtead Common, a launch day will be held on 10 October.

The veteran tree trails project is funded by City of London and aims to showcase the cutting-edge veteran tree management at a number of its sites; Ashtead Common, Burnham Beeches, Epping Forest and Hampstead Heath. Self guided trails have been developed for all four sites enabling those involved with veteran tree management to learn from experiences at these sites. Information packs will be available electronically or in hard copy and participants can investigate the sites at their own pace.

Parking is limited. The use of public transport or sharing is advised. Ashtead Common is within walking distance of Ashtead Train Station.
